  • Remy: cuticles run one way, so it tangles less and lasts longer.
  • Virgin: never coloured or permed. The best you can buy and can be dyed.
  • Human hair blend: mixed with fibre. Cheaper, but less heat friendly.

Which way to wear it?

  • Sew-in weave: wefts sewn onto cornrows by a stylist.
  • Clip-ins: put in and take out yourself in minutes.
  • Tape-ins: flat, light and fitted by a stylist.
  • Bulk: loose hair for boho braids and crochet.
Human hair can be washed, heat styled and coloured. Use a heat protector, and colour with a professional if you are going lighter.
