Semi-permanent hair dye adds colour without ammonia or developer. It coats the hair instead of lightening it, so it is gentler and fades gradually. We stock around 35 options, including Crazy Color, Adore, Schwarzkopf LIVE, Kiss Tintation and L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss.

Which one do you need?

  • Bright fashion colours: Crazy Color, Adore and LIVE in blues, pinks, reds and purples. Best over pre-lightened hair.
  • Natural shades: to deepen your colour, add shine or blend a few greys.
  • Pastels: only show on very light blonde hair.
  • Demi-permanent: such as Casting Creme Gloss, mixed with a mild developer and lasting longer.

Common questions

Will it show on dark or afro hair? Dark reds, plums and blue-blacks give a tint on dark hair. Vivid shades need bleaching first.

How long does it last? Roughly 4 to 12 washes, depending on the shade and your hair's porosity.

Does it cover grey? It blends and stains grey but will not fully cover it like permanent dye. Skin test before use.
