Collection: EZ Braid

EZ Braid Pre-Stretched Braiding Hair

EZ Braid is pre-stretched braiding hair that is ready to use straight from the pack. The ends are already tapered, so there is no pulling or feathering before you start. This collection covers Spetra EZ Braid and Kuknus Collection pre-stretched braids in 12, 16, 20 and 26 inch.

Which length do you need?

  • 12 to 16 inch: bobs, shoulder-length box braids and children's styles. These usually come three bundles to a pack.
  • 20 inch: mid-back knotless and box braids.
  • 26 inch: waist-length styles. Usually two bundles to a pack.

Common questions

Why choose pre-stretched hair? It saves prep time, braids come out lighter and the ends finish thin and natural instead of blunt.

How many packs do I need? As a guide, three to five packs for a full head of medium braids, depending on length and how many bundles are in each pack. Buy one extra if you are unsure.

Can I seal it with hot water? Yes. Dip the finished ends in hot water to set them, taking care not to scald yourself.

EZ Braid FAQs

What does pre-stretched braiding hair mean?
It means the fibre has already been stretched out at the factory, so you do not need to pull and stretch each strand before braiding, which can save time when installing.
How many packs will I need for a full head?
This depends on your head size, desired thickness and braid length, so it varies from person to person; check the pack details on each product page as a starting guide.
What is the difference between Spetra EZ Braid and Kuknus Collection?
Both are pre-stretched braiding hair ranges, but they come from different brands with different lengths and pack sizes; check each product page to compare.
Can I use hot water to seal the ends of EZ Braid?
Always follow the instructions on the pack for sealing or dipping ends, as methods can vary between braiding hair types.
Is braiding hair reusable?
Some braiding hair can be reused if removed and cared for gently, but condition will depend on how it was installed and maintained, so check the pack for guidance.
