Which one do you need?

• Medicated scalp conditioner: a grease or cream applied directly to the scalp and left in. The traditional choice for afro hair.
• Rinse-out anti-dandruff conditioner: used after an anti-dandruff shampoo, like any conditioner.
• Kids formula: milder, for children.

Common questions

Is it dandruff or a dry scalp? Dry scalp gives small, dry flakes and feels tight. Dandruff flakes are often larger and oilier, with itching. Both improve with regular, gentle washing.

How often should I wash with dandruff? More often than you might think. Weekly washing with a medicated shampoo usually helps.

When should I get advice? If your scalp is red, sore, weeping or not improving after a month, see a pharmacist or GP.
