Xpression, also written X-pression or Expression, is one of the best-known names in synthetic braiding hair. Use it for box braids, knotless braids, twists and cornrows.

Which pack do you need?

• Ultra Braid: the classic long pack. Stretch it yourself before braiding.
• Pre-Stretched Ultra Braid: ready to braid, with tapered ends for a neat finish.
• Lagos Braid: a fuller pack for chunky styles.
• Crochet and twist hair: pre-made textures for quick installs.

Common questions

How many packs of Xpression do I need? It depends on the style, the length and which pack you buy. Ask your braider how many of which pack to bring.

What do the colour numbers mean? 1 is jet black, 1B is off black, 2 is dark brown, 4 is medium brown, 27 is honey blonde, 30 is auburn and 613 is light blonde. A code starting with T, such as T1B/30, is two-tone.

Is Xpression pre-stretched? Only the packs marked Pre-Stretched. The classic Ultra Braid needs stretching by hand before you braid.

Do you stock bright colours? Yes, including pink, purple, blue, green, red and ombre shades. Pick the colour on the product page.
