Wella ColorCharm is a professional colour range. We stock the ColorCharm Permanent Liquid Toners in 42ml bottles, used to tone lightened or bleached hair.

How toner works

• What it does: a toner adjusts the shade of pre-lightened hair, for example to reduce yellow or brassy tones.
• What you need: liquid toners are mixed with a developer. Check the bottle for the mixing ratio and timing.
• Choosing a shade: pick your shade on the product page and check the Wella shade chart for the result on your starting colour.

Common questions

Can I use toner on dark hair? Toner does not lighten hair. It only works on hair that has already been lightened.

Do I need a skin test? Yes. Do a skin test 48 hours before every use and follow the instructions on the pack.

Which developer do I use? Follow the directions on the bottle. See our developers and peroxide.
