Wrap strips are stretchy paper bands that hold a wrap, mould or set flat against the head while it dries. Stylists also use them to protect the hairline under a hooded dryer. We stock Red by Kiss wrap strips in black and white, in 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch widths, and Ultra Strong boxed strips.

How to choose

• 2.5 inch: the standard width for wraps and for laying edges.
• 3.5 inch: wider coverage for moulded short styles and full wraps.
• Ultra Strong: less likely to tear when wet.
• Black or white: a matter of preference. Black hides product marks.

Common questions

How do I use wrap strips? Apply wrap lotion or mousse, comb the hair smooth around the head, wind the strip round over the hair and secure the end, then sit under a dryer or air dry.

Are they reusable? They are designed to be used once.

Can I use them to lay edges? Yes. Tie a strip over your edges for ten minutes after applying edge control.
