Collection: Half Wigs

Half Wigs

Half wigs offer a quick way to add length and volume to your own hair. Our range includes synthetic half wigs from brands including Freetress, Model Model, Feme, Kuknus and Sensationnel, with styles that feature drawstring fullcaps, braids, and some that work as two-in-one half wig and ponytail pieces.

What's in the range

  • Drawstring fullcap half wigs: These sit on top of your own hair with an adjustable drawstring at the back for a secure fit.
  • Half wigs with braids: Pre-braided styles that give you a finished look without the time needed to braid.
  • 2-in-1 half wig and ponytail pieces: Dual-purpose pieces that work as both a half wig and a separate ponytail attachment.
  • Synthetic half wigs in various styles: Styles ready to wear in a range of lengths and textures from our selected brands.

Common questions

How do I care for a synthetic half wig? Synthetic fibres need gentle handling. Rinse in cool water, use products made for synthetic hair, and air dry on a wig stand. Do not use heat styling tools unless the wig is labelled as heat-friendly.

Will a half wig stay in place all day? Drawstring fullcaps adjust to fit your head securely. Some people prefer to use wig glue or clips for extra hold, depending on the style and their comfort level.

Can I style or cut a synthetic half wig? Synthetic hair does not hold a new shape after cutting or heat styling in the same way as human hair, so we recommend wearing it as it comes.

Half Wigs FAQs

What is a half wig?
A half wig covers the back and crown of your head. You leave your own hair out at the front and blend it over the wig.
How do I blend a half wig?
Leave out a section of your own hair at the front, secure the wig behind it with its combs, then style your hair over the edge.
Can I wear a half wig with short hair?
You need enough hair at the front to cover the edge of the wig. A headband or scarf can hide the join if your hair is very short.
