Garnier Olia

Garnier Olia is a permanent home hair dye that uses oils to carry the colour and has no ammonia, so it has a much milder smell than traditional dyes. We stock a range of Olia shades from blacks and browns to golden blondes, plus the B+++ Maximum Bleach.

How to choose your shade

• The first number is the depth: 1 is black, 4 is brown, 6 is light brown and 9 is very light blonde.
• The number after the point is the tone: .0 is natural and .3 is golden.
• Going lighter: a box dye will lift natural hair by a couple of shades at most. It will not lighten hair that is already dyed.

Common questions

Does Olia cover grey? The pack states up to 100% grey coverage.

Do I need to patch test? Yes. Do an allergy test 48 hours before each use, even without ammonia, as instructed in the box.

Is it suitable for afro hair? Yes, though coarse or very dark hair may need the full development time. Deep condition afterwards.
