How to choose

  • Texture: the curl is set into the fibre, so pick the finished look you want.
  • Heat-safe fibre: ranges marked heat resistant, such as Futura, can take low heat. Standard synthetic hair cannot.
  • Packs: some weaves come as multi-piece sets with a closure, enough for a full head in one pack.
  • Length: short weaves from 6 inches for pixie and bob styles, up to 18 inches and longer.

Common questions

How long does a synthetic weave last? Usually four to six weeks of wear. It is not designed to be reused as often as human hair.

Can I wash it? Yes, gently, in cool water with a mild shampoo. Do not rub or wring it.

How do I stop it tangling? Use a wide-tooth comb from the ends up, a light detangling spray and tie it up at night.
