Common questions

Can I use body lotion on my face? Check the product label first, as some are made for body only. Palmers do products specifically for the face.

How do I use healing clay? Follow the instructions on the pack for how long to leave it on and how to remove it.

Is coconut oil suitable for all skin types? Coconut oil can feel heavy on some skin, so patch test first if your skin is sensitive or prone to spots.

Skin Care FAQs

What skin care routine suits black and brown skin?
A gentle cleanser, a rich moisturiser applied to damp skin, and a daily SPF. Add targeted products for dryness or uneven tone as you need them.
How do I stop my skin looking ashy?
Ashiness is dry skin. Moisturise straight after washing while skin is damp, using a rich lotion or butter, and seal with a body oil.
Does dark skin need sunscreen?
Yes. Melanin gives some protection but does not block UV, and sun exposure can make dark marks last longer.
