Which one do you need?

  • Lace wig glue and spray: holds a lace front along the hairline. See lace wig glue and Ebin lace spray.
  • Hair bonding glue: for bonding weave tracks, such as Salon Pro Hair Bonding Glue.
  • Holding gel: a lighter hold for laying lace and edges.
  • Wig tape: a glue-free way to hold a wig or hairpiece.
  • Removers: loosen glue and tape so nothing is pulled off dry.

Common questions

What is the difference between wig glue and bonding glue? Wig glue goes on the skin along the hairline to hold lace. Bonding glue is made for attaching weave tracks. Use each only as its instructions say.

How do I remove hair glue safely? Use a remover made for that glue and give it time to work. Never pull glued hair or lace off dry, as it can damage your hair and skin.

Should I do a patch test? Yes. Test a small amount on your skin first, following the pack, and do not use glue on broken or irritated skin.

Is there a glue for sensitive skin? Some ranges have a Sensitive version, such as Ebin Wonder Lace Bond Sensitive. Still do a patch test first.

Wig Glue, Tape & Removers FAQs

How long does lace wig glue last?
It depends on the glue, your skin and how much you sweat. Check the hold time on the product, and always do a patch test before first use.
How do I remove wig glue safely?
Apply a lace glue remover along the hairline, wait until the glue loosens, then lift the lace gently. Never pull the lace off dry.
Should I use glue or tape for my lace wig?
Glue gives a flatter, longer hold. Tape is quicker to apply and remove, so it suits short-term wear.
