Color Wow recommends Extra Strength Dream Coat for dehydrated, porous and curly or coily hair when the aim is a smooth, straight style.
Choose according to the finish you want. Keeping your natural curls defined is a different styling goal from blow-drying them sleek.
How to apply it
- Shampoo, condition and towel-dry your hair.
- Divide your damp hair into manageable sections.
- Spray each section thoroughly, including underneath, and comb through.
- Blow-dry section by section, using a brush to hold the hair taut.
The combination of heat and tension activates the treatment. Air-drying and then using straighteners does not give the same result.
Can you use other styling products?
Color Wow advises against applying other styling products to wet hair alongside Dream Coat, with its specified Dream Cocktail treatments as an exception. Apply finishing products after completing the blow-dry.

How often should you apply it?
The manufacturer recommends application every three to four shampoos. It is not intended to be reapplied after every wash.
