A folding umbrella is easier to remember when it has a regular place in your bag. The Mini Folding Umbrella at CC Hair And Beauty is a compact Brolly accessory with a carry strap and a black folded design. Here is what the supplier confirms, plus practical ideas for checking how it fits into your everyday routine.
Available to pre-order: this umbrella is currently offered on a pre-order basis. Check the product page for the latest ordering details before purchasing.
How small is the folded umbrella?
Gem Imports identifies this model as HOM0708OB and lists dimensions of approximately 23.5 × 6 × 6 cm. The open canopy is about 94 cm in diameter. The folded length and open canopy diameter describe different things, so compare the folded dimensions with the space in your bag.
The supplier lists a polyester canopy and nickel-plated steel frame, with plastic also included in its material specification. The product photograph shows the closed black umbrella with a fastening strap, wrist loop and hanging Brolly tag.
Check your bag before ordering
Measure a pocket or compartment you would like to use, then compare it with the listed dimensions. Leave room to remove the umbrella comfortably rather than relying on a tight fit. Consider what else normally goes in that part of your bag.
A regular place can make a small accessory easier to find. If you change bags often, add the umbrella to the short list of items you transfer with your keys and other essentials. These are planning suggestions, rather than a guarantee that it fits every handbag.
Opening and putting it away
Read the instructions supplied with your umbrella before first use. Give yourself space away from other people and nearby objects when opening or closing it, and avoid forcing the mechanism if it catches.
After use, let the fabric dry in a suitable place before leaving it folded away for a long period. Keep moisture away from papers and electronics in your bag. If you have to pack it while damp, make a point of taking it out again when you reach your destination.
